Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the UNSENT app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Description of Service

UNSENT is a private letter-writing app that allows you to write, save, and reflect on letters you never send. All letters are stored locally on your device by default. Optional Pro features include AI rewrites, weekly insights, and encrypted cloud backup.

User Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create in UNSENT. We do not access, read, or claim any rights to your letters. Your content remains private and under your control at all times.

Subscriptions

UNSENT Pro is available as an auto-renewable subscription. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
Subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
You can manage and cancel your subscription in your device's Settings under your Apple ID
Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription

Monthly — $4.99/month
Yearly — $39.99/year

AI Features

UNSENT Pro includes optional AI-powered features. When you use AI features, your letter text is sent to a third-party AI provider for processing. The AI provider does not store your content. AI-generated results are suggestions only and should not be considered professional advice of any kind.

Encrypted Backup

If you enable encrypted backup, your letters are encrypted on your device before being uploaded. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your 24-word recovery phrase. If you lose your recovery phrase, your backed-up data cannot be recovered by us or anyone else.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use UNSENT to:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
Interfere with or disrupt the app's services or infrastructure

Disclaimer of Warranties

UNSENT is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. UNSENT is not a substitute for professional mental health support.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UNSENT and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of data.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
